Putting it together: your AI workflow
Now turn these skills into a habit. A simple, repeatable workflow that saves you real time every week — with the human check built in.
Your goals
- Build a repeatable AI workflow for your real tasks.
- Keep a human in the loop every time.
- Save your best prompts and measure time saved.
Build your workflow
List the tasks you repeat weekly (emails, summaries, reports). For each, write one good prompt (role, context, task, format). Save them. Now the work is ‘paste and check’, not ‘start from scratch’.
Human in the loop, always
AI drafts; you decide. Every output goes through the Module 1 test: would I put my name on it? That single habit keeps quality high and risk low.
The core habit from this course is…
Save prompts and measure
Keep a simple prompt library (a note or doc). Track roughly how much time you save each week — it’s motivating and shows your manager the value.
The weekly report
Wendy spends two hours every Monday writing a status report. She wants a workflow to cut that down.
What should they do? Think, then reveal.
Reveal the answer
Template + saved prompt + human check.
Wendy saves a prompt that turns her bullet updates into the report format, runs it each Monday, verifies the numbers, and sends. Two hours becomes twenty minutes.
